It is at the core of everything we do and the message is shared throughout our team so that the beliefs and values can be ingrained in each of our employee’s habits and daily practices. Anything that can positively impact our health and safety good standing is incredibly valued.

Our team members have all gone through safety courses that include Safe Operation and Application of Suspended Access Equipment, Fall Prevention, Ladder Safety, Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in construction, Competent Person training, and Weekly Toolbox Meetings about hazards in the workplace. Our management provides our employees with the most current safety updates, and we encourage all of our employees and management to participate in continuing education courses.

Chase Thompson

Chase Thompson President of CBT Builders, leads the team and maintains a hands-on approach to all aspects of the company, including direct involvement in many of CBT’s construction projects. This same dedication to excellence is mirrored by the team he has assembled around him, executives that are leaders in the industry, not only experienced but respected.


Wilmer Trana has over 24 years of experience in construction; 15 of which have been exclusively in concrete restoration, and waterproofing.

He started his career back in 1998, and in 2006 he opened and operated a successful business. Will has worked with some of the largest restoration companies in South Florida, as well as working hand in hand with some of the leading engineering firms in the field. He is the proud father of three beautiful children, one of them a recent FSU graduate.

Will’s many years of experience, knowledge, and expertise are an asset to the CBT family.


Rich O’Neil, Director of Operations for CBT Builders oversees all operations for CBT’s Construction. Rich is responsible for business development and oversee the day-to-day activities of the company, ensuring that the organization is managed and performing efficiently and effectively, maintaining, and managing relationships with all subcontractors as well as clients and engineers, overseeing all project managers and subcontractors, scheduling and pre-construction planning. Rich brings 10 years experience in Hospitality, 10 years experience in Construction Management with a Degree in Business Management and multiple property management certifications to assist in all aspects of the CBT organization.
